Dots and Dashes

This is a quarterly publication that looks like a small newspaper. The majority of the articles have to do with stories and experiences of landline telegraphers. Some radiotelegraph articles appear, but in smaller quantity. Activities of the MTC are also well covered. Want-ads are available free to MTC members on a space-available basis.
You must be a member of the MTC to receive "Dots and Dashes". If you have any interest in the history of landline telegraphy, then membership in the MTC is an absolute must. Dues are very reasonable and entitle you to receive "Dots and Dashes". For information on joining, please see the official MTC home page:
Artifax Books specializes in telegraph history and collecting. These books are very informative and are relatively inexpensive. Available are all back issues of "The Vail Correspondant" which was a quarterly journal for telegraph collectors. TVC will be ceasing publication in 1998.
